Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11565 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شَيْخٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: مَنْ عَلِمَ أَنِّي ذُو قُدْرَةٍ عَلَى مَغْفِرَةِ الذُّنُوبِ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ، وَلَا أُبَالِي مَا لَمْ يُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: Whoever knows that I have the power to forgive sins, I will forgive him, and I do not mind, so long as he does not associate anything with Me."
