Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11559 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The umm

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْحَنَفِيُّ، ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أُمُّ الْوَلَدِ حُرَّةٌ وإِنْ كَانَ سَقْطًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The umm walad (a slave woman who has borne her master's child) is free, even if the child was miscarried."
