حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ: «اسْتُصْغِرْتُ أَنَا، وَابْنُ عُمَرَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ»
Sayyiduna al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "On the day of Badr, I and Ibn Umar were considered too young (and were not permitted to take part)."
