Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11514 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَرْوِيُّ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، قَالَا: ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعَلِّمُهُمْ مِنَ الْأَوْجَاعِ كُلِّهَا وَمِنَ الْحُمَّى هَذَا الدُّعَاءَ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ الْكَبِيرِ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ الْعَظِيمِ منْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عِرْقٍ نَعَّارٍ، وَمَنْ شَرِّ حَرِّ النَّارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach them this supplication for all pains and for fever: "In the name of Allah, the Great. I seek refuge in Allah, the Mighty, from the evil of every vein that gushes forth vigorously, and from the evil of the heat of the Fire."
