Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1145 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Judges are of three

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Judges are of three kinds: two are in Hell and one is in Paradise. A judge who knowingly judged unjustly is in Hell; and a judge who judged unjustly without knowledge is also in Hell; and a judge who knowingly judged according to the truth is in Paradise."
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abdullah bin Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) differed from the others regarding (the name of) this narrator, for he called him Abbad, whereas when al-Mutayyan, Muhammad bin Uthman bin Abi Shaybah, al-Tirmidhi and others narrated from him to us, they gave (his name as) Ubadah bin Ziyad.
