Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11449 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The best

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ أَوَّلُهَا، وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ آخِرُهَا، وَشَرُّهَا أَوَّلُهَا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of the men's rows is the first and the worst is the last, and the best of the women's rows is the last and the worst is the first."
