Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11416 — on the day of Hunayn the Messenger
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، أَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، أَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ كَثِيرٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «قَسَمَ لثَمَانِينَ فَرَسًا يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ سَهْمَيْنِ سَهْمَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of Hunayn the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed two shares each for eighty horses.
