بريدة بن الحصيب الأسلمي يكنى أبا عبد الله
Buraydah bin al-Husayb al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Abdullah
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1140 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ، ثنا سَمُرَةُ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، ثنا حُسَامُ بْنُ مِصَكٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا بُرَيْدَةُ سَتَكُونُ بُعُوثٌ، فَعَلَيْكَ بِبَعْثِ خُرَاسَانَ، ثُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِمَدِينَةِ مَرْوٍ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُصِيبُ أَهْلَهَا سُوءٌ، لِأَنَّ ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ بَنَاهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Buraydah! Soon armies will be dispatched, so join the army of Khurasan, then go to the city of Marw, for no harm will befall its inhabitants, because Dhu al-Qarnayn built it."
