حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الطُّوسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رَمَضَانُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ رَمَضَانَ فِيمَا سِوَاهَا مِنَ الْبُلْدَانِ، وَجُمُعَةٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ جُمُعَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهَا مِنَ الْبُلْدَانِ»
Sayyiduna Bilal bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ramadan in Madinah is better than a thousand Ramadans in other cities, and one Friday in Madinah is better than a thousand Fridays in other cities."
