Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out from Makkah to Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah when the sun had passed the zenith. There he prayed Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, then spent the night there and prayed Fajr on the Day of Arafah. Then he set out for Arafah, where he prayed Zuhr and Asr when the sun had passed the zenith. Then he proceeded to Muzdalifah, where he prayed Maghrib and Isha together, without offering any voluntary prayer between them.
