حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَمَاعَةَ الرَّمْلِيُّ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابَانَ الْجُنْدِيسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْبَلْخِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ، ثنا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَدَ الْعَبَّاسَ ذَوْدًا مِنْ إِبِلٍ فَبَعَثَنِي إِلَيْهِ فَبِتُّ عِنْدَهُ، وَكَانَتْ لَيْلَةَ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرَ كَثِيرٍ فَتَوَسَّدْتُ الْوِسَادَةَ الَّتِي تَوَسَّدَها رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «فَتَوَضَّأَ فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ، وَأَقَلَّ هِرَاقَةَ الْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَافْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ، وَقُمْتُ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ وَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَأَخْلَفَ بِيَدِهِ فَأَخَذَ بِأُذُنِي فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ» وَكَانَتْ مَيْمُونَةُ حَائِضًا فَقَامَتْ فَتَوَضَّأَتْ، ثُمَّ قَعَدَتْ خَلْفَهُ تَذْكُرُ اللهَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had promised (my father) Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) a few camels, so (Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and I spent the night at his (peace and blessings be upon him) house. It was the night of Sayyidah Maymunah bint al-Harith's (may Allah be pleased with her) turn. Then, after a short while, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rose (from sleep), and I laid my head on the same pillow on which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had laid his head. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and performed ablution; he performed it thoroughly and well, yet used little water. Then he stood and began the prayer. I too performed ablution and stood on his (peace and blessings be upon him) left, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) reached his hand behind, took hold of my ear and stood me on his right. Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) was menstruating; she got up, performed ablution, then sat behind him (peace and blessings be upon him) remembering Allah.
