Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11222 — the Prophet ﷺ never fought any people

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never fought any people until he had (first) invited them (to Islam).
