Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11045 — a Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! How is ablution to be performed? So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water for ablution, washed his right hand three times, then put his hand into the vessel, then rinsed his mouth and sniffed water into his nose three times each, then wiped his head and the outer part of his ears along with his head, then washed his feet three times. Then he said: This is how ablution is; whoever does more than this has transgressed and done wrong.
