طاوس، عن ابن عباس
Tawus from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10922 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، أنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَعْطَى جَدَّةً سُدُسًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a grandmother (paternal or maternal) one sixth (of the inheritance).
