Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10851 — A man gave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A man gave the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) a she-camel as a gift, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him something in return for it, then said: "Are you satisfied?" He said: "No." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him more, then said: "Are you satisfied?" He said: "No." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him more and said: "Are you satisfied?" He said: "Yes." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I had resolved that I would not accept a gift from anyone except an Ansari, a Qurashi or a Thaqafi."
