Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10834 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: For one

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ أَرْضَهُ، خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَجْرًا مَعْلُومًا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For one of you to give his land to his brother as a gift is better for him than taking a fixed fee for it."
