حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ السَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَلَقِيَتْهُ هَدِيَّةٌ؛ عُضْوٌ مِنْ شَاةٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ» .
Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata narrated: I was with Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out for the prayer and was met with a gift, a part of a sheep. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ate one or two morsels of it, then prayed and did not perform ablution.
