حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ النَّاقِدُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، أُتِيَ بِعَرْقٍ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، فَانْتَهَسَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Farewell Hajj; on the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr), while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing tawaf of the House, a piece of meat on the bone was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) bit pieces off it with his teeth and ate, then prayed and did not perform ablution.
