حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السَّمْتِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ: «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمُ، اصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّ فُلَانٍ»
Abdullah bin al-Harith narrated: I heard Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrating on this very pulpit that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say these words in times of distress: "There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing; there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne; there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth and Lord of the Magnificent Throne; turn away from me the evil of so-and-so."
