Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10718 — the Prophet ﷺ said: A race

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْفَرْوِيُّ، ثنا قُدَامَةُ، عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا سَبْقَ إِلَّا فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ أَوْ نَصْلٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A race (with a prize) is permissible only with camels, horses or arrows."
