حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَوْرَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالثَّمَرَةِ أَعْطَاهَا أَصْغَرَ مَنْ يَحْضُرُهُ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when fruit was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would give it to the youngest of the children present.
