Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10683 — the Prophet ﷺ ordered Zakat al-Fitr
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، أَوْ مُدَّانِ قَمْحًا، عَلَى كُلِّ حَاضِرٍ وَبادٍ، صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ، حُرٍّ أَوْ عَبْدٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Zakat al-Fitr: a sa' of dates, or a sa' of barley, or two mudds of wheat, upon every town-dweller and desert-dweller, young or old, free or slave.
