حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، وَزَادَ: قَالَ ابْنُ شَدَّادٍ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: هِيَ الْمَرْأَةُ الَّتِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ كُنْتُ رَاجِمًا بِغَيْرِ بَيِّنَةٍ لَرَجَمْتُهَا» ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: لَا، وَلَكِنْ تِلْكَ امْرَأَةٌ كَانَتْ قَدْ أَعْلَنَتْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ
A similar hadith is narrated, but with this addition: Ibn Shaddad asked Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): Is she the woman about whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I were to stone anyone without evidence, I would have stoned her"? Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: No, rather that was another woman who had openly committed indecency in Islam.
