حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَازِنِيُّ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَمْسَكَ بِرِكَابِ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ، لَا يَرْجُوهُ وَلَا يَخَافُهُ، غُفِرَ لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever holds the stirrup of his Muslim brother, neither hoping for anything from him nor fearing him, will be forgiven."
