علي بن عبد الله بن عباس عن أبيه
Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10620 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الطُّوسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ يَقْظَانَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ خُلِقَ مُفَتَّنًا تَوَّابًا نَسَّاءً، إِذَا ذُكِّرَ ذَكَرَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the believer has been created prone to trial, repenting often, and forgetful; when he is reminded, he remembers."
