Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10597 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَهْضَمٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِسْبَاغِ الْوُضُوءِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to perform ablution thoroughly."
