Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10585 — I was with Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas

Abu al-Tufayl said: I was with Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) while the two of them were circumambulating the House. Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) would not pass any corner without touching it. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to touch only the Yemeni corner. Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Nothing of the House is to be abandoned.
