Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10473 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Staying up at night

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ حُدَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا سَمَرَ إِلَّا لِمُصَلٍّ أَوْ مُسَافِرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Staying up at night (in conversation) is only for one who prays or a traveller."
