Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10423 — the Prophet ﷺ said: People are of two

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «النَّاسُ رَجُلَانِ؛ عَالِمٌ وَمُتَعَلِّمٌ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِيمَا سِوَاهُمَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) as a marfu' report that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People are of two kinds: the scholar and the student, and there is no good in (anyone) besides them."
