حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَيْلَةٌ لَطَوَّلَ اللهُ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي، وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أَبِي، يَمْلَأُهَا قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if only one night remained of the world, Allah would lengthen that night until a man from my household becomes ruler whose name matches my name and whose father's name matches my father's name; he will fill the earth with equity and justice just as it will have been filled with oppression and tyranny."
