حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: زَعَمَ بِلَالٌ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْمُوقَيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the leather socks and the turban."
