حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطُّوسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ حَيَّةٍ بِمِنًى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a snake to be killed at Mina.
