حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى الْبَلْخِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السُّلَمِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي، ثُمَّ الثَّانِي، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثُ، ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ قَوْمٌ لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of people are my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them; then there will come people in whom there is no good."
