Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10021 — the Prophet ﷺ cursed usury (riba)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ أَبِي عِيسَى، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ الرِّبَا وَآكِلَهُ وَمُوكِلَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَهُ، وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ، وَالْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ وَالنَّامِصَةَ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةَ، وَنَهَى عَنِ النَّوْحِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed usury (riba), the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, the one who records it and those who witness it, while they know; and he cursed the woman who joins hair and the woman who has it joined, the woman who has herself tattooed, and the woman who plucks eyebrows and the woman who has them plucked; and he forbade wailing.
