It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says 'Allahu akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) once in the path of Allah Almighty" (then the narrator mentioned the whole hadith, which has already passed in the chapter on the virtue of jihad). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then he (the dweller of Paradise) will be blessed with seeing Allah, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour, morning and evening, just as you see the sun and have no doubt about seeing it. And for him will be the honour, dignity and blessings that Allah, Glorified and Exalted, has mentioned in this way: "For those who do good is the best (reward) and more" [Surah Yunus: 26]." He (peace and blessings be upon him) further explained: "'Those who do good' means those who affirmed and believed in 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god worthy of worship except Allah); 'the best' means Paradise; and 'more' means seeing the Noble Face of Allah Almighty."
The chain of this hadith contains Dawud bin al-Muhabbar and Abbad bin Kathir, who are matruk (abandoned) and weak narrators.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this saying of Allah Almighty, "fa-bi-dhalika fal-tafrahu" [Surah Yunus: 58], with the letter "ta" (that is, in the second-person form), meaning: "So in that you should rejoice."
Imam Ibn Abi Umar transmitted this narration. Its chain contains Atiyyah al-Awfi, a weak narrator, and this recitation is transmitted in the second-person form, contrary to the well-known reading "fal-yafrahu" (that is, the third-person form).
