It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty created in Paradise a wind which came into being seven years after (the creation of the other) winds. Before it is a closed door, and the wind that reaches you comes only through the gaps of that closed door. If that door were (fully) opened, it would blow away everything between the heaven and the earth. With Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, the name of this wind is al-Azyab, and among you it is called al-Janub (the south wind)."
Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah also narrated this same report through Sufyan bin Uyaynah. I (Ibn Hajar) say: The narrator in this chain Yazid bin Ju'dubah is in fact Yazid bin Iyad, and he is matruk al-hadith (abandoned, not reliable).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The distance between the lowest heaven and the earth is a journey of five hundred years, and the thickness of each of them (the heaven and the earth) is also equal to a journey of five hundred years. Likewise, the distance from each heaven to the next one adjoining it is a journey of five hundred years, and so on up to the seventh heaven. The extent and thickness of all the earths is likewise, while the distance from the seventh heaven to the Divine Throne is equal to the total of all these distances combined."
Ishaq bin Rahwayh recorded this hadith in his Musnad; however, this narration is regarded as da'if (weak) because of the 'an'anah of al-A'mash in its chain and because the narrator Abu Nasr is unknown, although there are supporting witnesses on this subject in other books of hadith.

It is narrated from al-Rabi' bin Anas (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "The reality of the heavens is that the first of them is a restrained wave (a held-back surge of water), the second is made of rock, the third of iron, the fourth of copper, the fifth of silver, the sixth of gold, and the seventh heaven of ruby."
This report is narrated from al-Rabi' bin Anas (may Allah have mercy on him) as mawquf. Although the narrator in its chain, Abu Ja'far al-Razi, has been called da'if (weak) because of criticism of his memory, his narration from al-Rabi' bin Anas is considered reliable.
