It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "Sunday is a day for planting and building; Monday is a day for travel; Tuesday is a day for blood (that is, for cupping); Wednesday is a day for taking (things), and nothing is given in it; Thursday is a day for going in to rulers and people of authority; Friday is a day for marriage and conjugal relations; and Saturday is a day of hunting and scheming."
Abu Ya'la recorded it in his Musnad, but because of the presence in its chain of narrators such as Amr bin al-Husayn and Yahya bin al-Ala', this narration is, according to the hadith scholars, severely da'if (weak) or at the level of fabricated (mawdu').
