It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) once delivered such a (stirring) sermon to us that his (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed voice was heard even by the young maidens who were in their homes, or (the narrator is in doubt) he said: "who were staying behind their curtains." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O you group who have believed with your tongues while faith has not yet entered your hearts! Do not backbite the Muslims and do not pry into their faults and hidden matters; for whoever pursues the faults of his (Muslim) brother, Allah Almighty pursues his faults, and whoever Allah pursues in his faults, He disgraces him (even while he hides) inside his own house."
Musnad Abi Ya'la: 2732. Its chain contains Hamzah bin Habib al-Zayyat, who is an imam in the science of Qur'anic recitation, but his memory in hadith has been criticised; however, this hadith has several supporting narrations in Sunan Abi Dawud (4880), Jami' al-Tirmidhi (2032) and elsewhere, by which this narration reaches the grade of hasan li-ghayrihi (good due to supporting narrations).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any person who sees a fault, or something worthy of being covered, in his (Muslim) brother and then conceals it for him (that is, does not disgrace him by exposing it), Allah Almighty will certainly admit him into Paradise (as a reward for this noble trait)."
In the chain of this hadith narrated by Imam Abd bin Humayd, the narrator named Khalid bin Ilyas is weak; however, the virtue and reward of concealing a Muslim's faults is established by other authentic and sahih hadith.

Hadith Grading
Hadith Takhrij «
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A Muslim is the mirror of another Muslim; so when he sees something disliked (or a fault) in his brother, he should remove it (that is, set him right through sincere advice)."
Imam Ahmad bin Mani' recorded this hadith; in its chain the narrator named Yahya bin Ubaydullah is weak according to the majority of hadith scholars, so this narration is weak in its chain; however, the first part of the hadith is sahih (authentic) on the basis of other reliable supporting narrations.
