بَابُ البركة فِي البكور
The blessing in the early morning

أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارٌ أَبُو يَاسِرٍ ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، ثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا .
Imam Abu Ya'la narrated through Ammar Abu Yasir, Hisham bin Ziyad, his father and Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him)) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "'Allahumma barik li-ummati fi bukuriha' (O Allah! Grant blessing to my Ummah in the early part of its day (the early morning))."
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارٌ أَبُو يَاسِرٍ ، ثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَنْبَسَةَ ، قَالَا : ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا .
Ammar Abu Yasir narrated to us, from Adi bin al-Fadl and Muhammad bin Anbasah, they from Ubaydullah bin Abi Bakr, and he from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "'Allahumma barik li-ummati fi bukuriha' (O Allah! Grant blessing to my Ummah in the early part of its day (the early morning))."
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ نِسْطَاسٍ مَوْلَى كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : وَلَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ ، وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ ، وَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يُؤْتِي عَبْدَهُ مَا كَتَبَ لَهُ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ ، فَأَجْمِلُوا فِي الطَّلَبِ ، خُذُوا مَا حَلَّ ، وَدَعُوا مَا حَرُمَ .
Ahmad bin Isa narrated through Ibn Wahb from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Richness is not an abundance of worldly goods; rather, true richness is the richness of the soul. And indeed, Allah Almighty gives His servant the provision that has been decreed for him, so be moderate and decent in seeking provision: take what is lawful and leave what is unlawful."
وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، ثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يُنْزِلُ الرِّزْقَ عَلَى قَدْرِ الْمُؤْنَةِ ، وَيُنْزِلُ الصَّبْرَ عَلَى قَدْرِ الْبَلَاءِ .
تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ طَارِقٍ عِنْدَ الْبَزَّارِ .

Imam al-Harith narrated through his chain from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, sends down provision according to the expenses and needs, and sends down patience according to the severity of the trial." With Imam al-Bazzar, Abd al-Aziz corroborated this narration (mutaba'ah) through Tariq.
