قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ، ثَنَا قَاسِمٌ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - قَالَ : أَعْطَى النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَالَتَهُ غُلَامًا ، فَقَالَ : لَا تَجْعَلِيهِ قَصَّابًا ، وَلَا حَجَّامًا ، وَلَا صَائِغًا .
Abu Ya'la narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his maternal aunt a slave and (advising her) said: "Do not make him a butcher, nor a cupper (hajjam), nor a goldsmith."
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ ، ثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - احْتَجَمَ فِي الْأَخْدَعَيْنِ ، وَبَيْنَ الْكَتِفَيْنِ ، وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ ، وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done on the two veins of the neck and between the two shoulders, and he gave the cupper his wage; had this wage been unlawful, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not have given it to him.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَذْرَمِيُّ ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الصُّدَائِيُّ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَبْهَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ ، وَعَنِ النَّوَّاحَاتِ ، وَعَنْ شِرَائِهِنَّ وَبَيْعِهِنَّ وَالتِّجَارَةِ فِيهِنَّ . قَالَ : كَسْبُهُنَّ حَرَامٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade singing girls and wailing women, as well as buying them, selling them and trading in them; and he (peace and blessings be upon him) also said that their earnings are unlawful."
حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ ، ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - قَالَتْ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : إِنَّ اللهَ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - يُحِبُّ إِذَا عَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَمَلًا أَنْ يُتْقِنَهُ .
Mus'ab narrated from Bishr bin al-Sari, he from Mus'ab bin Thabit, he from Hisham bin Urwah, he from his father, and he from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, loves that when one of you does a task, he carries it out with great firmness, skill and excellence."
