It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit the poor and needy people of Madinah when they were ill and look after them; then the narrator related the complete hadith with the details of the incident, in which it is also mentioned: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) walked to the grave of that (deceased) woman, offered her funeral prayer there, and said four takbirs."
Imam Abu Bakr Ibn Abi Shaybah said that one of the narrators of this chain, Sa'id bin Yahya Abu Sufyan al-Himyari, was a very truthful and upright man.
