بَابُ سُؤْرِ الْهِرَّةِ وَغَيْرِهَا مِنَ الْحَيَوَانَاتِ الطَّاهِرَةِ

مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا فَأُهْدِيَ لَهَا صَحْفَةٌ فِيهَا خُبْزٌ وَلَحْمٌ ، وَقَامَتْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَقُمْنَا نُصَلِّي ، فَخَالَفَتْ هِرَّةٌ إِلَى الطَّعَامِ فَأَكَلَتْ مِنْهُ . فَلَمَّا أَنْ سَلَّمْنَا أَخَذَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا الْقَصْعَةَ فَكَوَّرَتْهَا حَتَّى كَانَ حَيْثُ أَكَلَتِ الْهِرَّةُ مِنْ نَحْوِهَا ، فَأَكَلَتْ مِنْهُ " .
Abd al-Rahman bin Harmalah narrates from his mother that she said: "I was with Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), the pure wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a large bowl containing bread and meat was given to her as a gift. Then she stood up for prayer and we too began to pray with her. Meanwhile a cat stealthily went for the food and ate some of it. When we had concluded the prayer with the salam, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) took hold of the bowl and turned it around until the place from which the cat had eaten was on her side, and then she ate from it."
وَقَالَ أَيْضًا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، وَحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ قَالَتْ : إِنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : " لَا بَأْسَ بِسُؤْرِ الْهِرَّةِ " .
Rukayn bin al-Rabi' narrates from his paternal aunt that Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "There is no harm or objection in using the leftover (water or food) of a cat."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْجَابِرِيِّ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ سُئِلَ : الْهِرُّ يَشْرَبُ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا بَأْسَ بِسُؤْرِ الْهِرِّ " .
وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مَرْفُوعًا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ السُّنَنِ الْأَرْبَعِ وَابْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ فِي صَحِيحِهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْهِرَّةِ : إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِنَجَسٍ ، هِيَ مِنَ الطَّوَّافِينَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَالطَّوَّافَاتِ . صَحِيحٌ .
وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مَرْفُوعًا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ السُّنَنِ الْأَرْبَعِ وَابْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ فِي صَحِيحِهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْهِرَّةِ : إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِنَجَسٍ ، هِيَ مِنَ الطَّوَّافِينَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَالطَّوَّافَاتِ . صَحِيحٌ .
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Jabiri that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked whether a cat may drink from a vessel. He said: "There is no objection to the su'r (the leftover in a vessel or the water it has drunk from) of a cat." This same narration is also reported as marfu' in the four Sunan and in Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said about the cat: "Indeed, it is not impure; rather it is one of the tawwafin and tawwafat (the male and female household animals that frequently go about) among you." This narration is sahih (authentic).
