إِسْحَاقُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The month is twenty-nine days."
