قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُعَيَّةَ السُّوَائِيِّ قَالَ : إِنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قُتِلَا عِنْدَ بَابِ بَنِي سَالِمٍ ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُدْفَنَا حَيْثُ قُتِلَا ، فَاحْتُمِلَا مِنْ حَيْثُ أُصِيبَا ، فَوَافَقَهُمْ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ مَقْبَرَةِ بَنِي هِلَالٍ فَدُفِنَا هُنَالِكَ .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mu'ayyah al-Suwa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) that two Companions (may Allah be pleased with them both) of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were martyred near the gate of Banu Salim. This was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that they be buried in the very place where they were martyred. So they were carried from the place of their martyrdom, and on the way, when they reached the graveyard of Banu Hilal, they were buried there.
