قَالَ عَبْدٌ : أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - إِذَا رَأَى جِنَازَةً قَامَ حَتَّى تُجَاوِزَهُ .
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ وَلَّى ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْمَقَابِرِ .
إِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ ، وَهُوَ مَوْقُوفٌ .
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ وَلَّى ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْمَقَابِرِ .
إِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ ، وَهُوَ مَوْقُوفٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "Whenever he saw a funeral, he would stand (out of respect for it) until the funeral had passed in front of him; and it was the habit of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when he went with a funeral (to the graveyard), he would turn his back towards the graves."
