وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُطَهِّرَاتُ أَرْبَعٌ : قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ ، وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ ، وَالسِّوَاكُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are four practices that bring about purity and cleanliness: trimming the moustache, removing the pubic hair, clipping the nails and using the siwak."
