إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَلَمَةَ - أَنَا مَعْبَدٌ ، أَخْبَرَنِي فُلَانٌ : رَجُلٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ جَلَسَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَوْ جَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، أَصَلَّيْتَ الضُّحَى ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قُمْ فَصَلِّ الضُّحَى ، قَالَ : فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
646 \ 2 - وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ نَحْوَهُ .
646 \ 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ بِهِ .
646 \ 2 - وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ نَحْوَهُ .
646 \ 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ بِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) came and sat with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), or perhaps the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself came and sat with him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O Abu Dharr, have you prayed the Duha (forenoon) prayer?" He said: "No." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Get up and pray the Duha prayer." The narrator said: So he prayed, then came back, and after that the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
And Imam al-Harith narrated it similarly from Yunus bin Muhammad, from Hammad, from Ma'bad bin Hilal al-Anbari, from a man present in the mosque of Damascus, from Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him); and Imam Abu Ya'la also narrated the same from Hudbah, through Hammad.
And Imam al-Harith narrated it similarly from Yunus bin Muhammad, from Hammad, from Ma'bad bin Hilal al-Anbari, from a man present in the mosque of Damascus, from Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him); and Imam Abu Ya'la also narrated the same from Hudbah, through Hammad.
