وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثَنَا بَشِيرٌ أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الظُّهْرِ كَانَ كَعَدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ .
616 \ 2 - وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، ثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ - هُوَ أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ - عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِثْلَهُ .
616 \ 2 - وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، ثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ - هُوَ أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ - عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِثْلَهُ .
It is narrated from the father of a man from the Ansar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays four rak'ahs before the Zuhr prayer, it is equal in reward to freeing a slave from the descendants of Sayyiduna Isma'il (peace be upon him)."
Ibn Abi Umar narrated something similar to it through Waki', Bashir bin Salman (who is Abu Isma'il) and al-Qasim bin Safwan al-Ansari, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him).
