قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، ثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَوْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَهَجَّدَ سَجَدَ بَيْنَ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
577 \ 2 - وَقَالَ عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، ثَنَا وَاصِلٌ بِسَنَدِهِ وَلَفْظِهِ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَاكُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ، فَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ : صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَلَا يَتَكَلَّمُ بِشَيْءٍ ، وَلَا يَأْمُرُ بِشَيْءٍ ، وَيُسَلِّمُ مِنْ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ ضَعِيفٌ .
577 \ 2 - وَقَالَ عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، ثَنَا وَاصِلٌ بِسَنَدِهِ وَلَفْظِهِ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَاكُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ، فَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ : صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَلَا يَتَكَلَّمُ بِشَيْءٍ ، وَلَا يَأْمُرُ بِشَيْءٍ ، وَيُسَلِّمُ مِنْ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ ضَعِيفٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him): "When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the tahajjud prayer, he would prostrate between every two rak'ahs." It is also narrated from him (with another chain and wording): "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to use the miswak two or three times during the night. Then, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) woke at night and stood (for prayer), he would pray four rak'ahs (in such a way) that between them he would neither speak to anyone nor order anything, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would give the salam after every two rak'ahs."
