Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 4521 — Mention of Ibn Sayyad and the uncertainty

It is narrated from Imam Ubayd bin Umayr (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said (warning the Ummah): "I warn you of (the trial of) the Dajjal" (the complete hadith).
In the chain of this report a narrator named Muhadir contradicted (Abdullah bin Dawud) and narrated it through Hisham bin Urwah, from Wahb bin Kaysan, from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both); Imam Ibn Hibban narrated this route. However, from the scholarly and technical point of view, the first route is more correct and reliable, even though it is mursal.
